Important information for parents who are front-line workers such as healthcare workers, first responders and law enforcement
The Sooke School District is offering a Monday-Friday day program (8:40 am - 2:50 pm) for children of essential workers only as defined by the provincial government. It is important that essential services workers exhaust all possibilities for the supervision of their children before accessing this possibility with the school district. This will assist us in our efforts to apply the necessary provincial health and safety protocols to ensure a safe space for staff and students.
Some important information to note:
- This service includes child supervision and some general educational activities.
- This service is located at a few regional school sites and not necessarily in your child's usual school.
- Sooke School District is not able to provide transportation or food services at this time.
